Music Fest is next weekend, and we’ll have 5,000 glossy 3″×4″ flyers and 50 11″×17″ posters to put up around downtown Memphis to let everyone know that we’re playing at 2:20pm on the Bud Light Stage on Sunday, May 6th. CD Release show this Friday!

We’re in the homestretch now. The cd release show is this Friday night at the New Daisy Theatre in Memphis, TN. Tickets are only $10 at the door. We only printed 200 presale tickets and those are almost sold out, so you’ll probably have to buy your tickets at the door.

This lineup is seriously one of the best we’ve ever been on. Every band is great, and it’s an honor to be able to share this night with all of them. We appreciate everybody’s help so far, but we REALLY need you guys to push for it this week! We want to pack this place out!

Helluva weekend

One hell of a weekend, for sure. Play Friday night down at the Handshake in Eudora, MS, then Gary played an acoustic set with his lil brother at the Arbor for Won’t Look Back Booking’s “Our Scene United” Fest with 37 other local acts. Finished up with a photoshoot for It’s What We Do clothing, and now getting to watch the Grammys.

All of this is just building the hype for the cd release show. Spread the word and make sure you’re there…you do NOT want to miss this…

CD Release show in Memphis!

Long time no speak! I’ve gotta get better at posting on this thing. We had our showcase in New York, and we got some good response, but we’re still working to secure exactly what we’re looking for. So…we’re going to continue to showcase and shop the record around for a while.

But…while we’re doing that, I’m sure you guys are just about ready to hear the new cd, right? We’re throwing a HUGE cd release show on Friday, February 25th at the New Daisy Theatre in Memphis, TN. Some of our best friends on the planet are sharing the stage with us that night: Sore Eyes, Inner 61, This Tragic Day, and Haven Hill. 4 of the absolute BEST bands not only in this city, but anywhere.

A teaser for every track on the new cd is now available on our ReverbNation page, so go check that out when you can. We’re excited to hear your opinions on our latest work!

The cd will be available in local stores and on iTunes, amazon.com, etc on Tuesday, March 1st, but if you come out the show, you can get it that night. Also, we will have pre-orders available on the website starting in the next day or so, and those will be autographed. The pre-orders will be mailed out the day before the show, so you should get them by March 1st.

We’re going to start shooting more video blogs and getting back into the habit of keeping you guys better informed. In the meantime, friend us on facebook, follow us on twitter, and tell everyone you know about Prosevere!

More happenings, etc

The show tonight in St. Louis is postponed until further notice. We’ll make sure we let everyone know when we’ll be back up there.

In the meantime, we’re gearing up for some pretty big things to happen in the next couple of months. We will be announcing the cd release show next week, and we’re going to be promoting the crap out of this release. We’ll definitely need your help, so make sure you keep up with us right here.

Not too much more than that. Don’t forget we’re playing the Hard Rock on Beale Street in Memphis for New Year’s Eve with our friends in Sore Eyes and Surrender the Fall. We’re all flipping coins at the beginning of the night, so we’re not sure who plays first or last, so make sure you get there around 9:30 that night to come party with us!

Well, we kicked it off last weekend in Nashville, and now it’s time to head out to some more gigs. We booked an acoustic show in New Orleans, LA on Sat, Nov 6th at the Neutral Ground Coffeehouse. This is pretty rare for us, so if you get a chance to make it out, you should.

We’re excited to announce that our first single (“New #2”) from the new record (“Burn the City”) will be available online on Friday, October 1st! Preppin and gearin up...

So we finally finished tracking the record. Right now it’s being mixed by J Hall at Theta Rhythm / SkiddCo Music in Nashville, and then it’ll be sent off to Brad Blackwood at Euphonic Masters here in Memphis, TN.

Then the fun begins.

We’ll be shopping the record for a while, but while all that’s going on, we’ll be releasing a single to radio. And then we start the big push to get back on the road regularly to come and see as many of you as we possibly can.

Yeah, we can’t wait either!
